My Awesome Experience on Earth to Echo!
Earth to Echo was one of the very first movies I had ever done background on. As you could probably guess, I was on this a long time ago. Typically once movies are filmed, they end up in post production and are released on the big screen about two years later. During filming, the movie didn't have a name yet so it was called WOLF Project. When I was on the shoot it was a very hot day. It seemed like it was going to be a long day. Luckily, it actually turned out to be a very fun and and short day. In this scene, neighbors (background) would walk out onto the middle of the street from their homes thinking there was a big earthquake. They are unaware that a spaceship took off and that's what caused the big shake or rumbling. One lady actually saw the spaceship and she kept screaming that she saw it. Everyone thought she was crazy except for the boys who actually helped the alien robot get away. They hid behind a car and watched the whole scene unfold. At first it didn't make sense to me but it did when I saw the movie. It was pretty cool filming that scene because the boys were right in front of us so in between takes they would say "hi" to us. It was also funny between takes because one of the adult backgrounds showed us a funny video of a squirrel doing the Gangnam Style dance. After the earthquake scene, we went back to base camp which was in a neighborhood. A really nice lady who lived in one of the houses gave us popsicles since it was such a hot day. It was very refreshing. Overall that was a pretty fun day and I will always remember it. When the movie was released, my parents snuck me out on a school night after my siblings went to bed to see the movie at the Cineopolis which is an awesome theater. We were excited to see me for a second in the movie. It was pretty cool!
