My Awesome Experience on a Dole Commercial!

The day that I went on a Dole commercial was pretty fun and cool. It was a late call time and it wasn't super long. They said I might have to skateboard so they asked if I knew how to skate. My mom said yes but I was pretty bad. Before the job I couldn't even get on the board. So my mom made me practice in the parking lot of my friend's church. I had my friend with me which was pretty fun and he didn't know how to skate either so we were pretty much on the same page. By the end of the day I could get on the board but I still wasn't that great. So when the time cam for my mom and I to head to the studio where they were filming I was pretty nervous. But when we got there we waited for a while  and they finally put us on set, except I didn't skateboard. They just had me stand in the background with this other kid while a different kid got to ride a skateboard. It was boring but by looking at the person they chose, it was probably better this way. But the kid who got chosen to skateboard was actually really nice. He actually took the time to teach me and few other kids to skateboard. He was a really good friend and instructor and by the end of the day I felt like a pro. I could do this one trick that looked complicated but was actually pretty easy. Even though I didn't get to work that much I still got to hang out with a bunch of cool kids who taught me to skateboard. Now I can skateboard pretty well and I got myself a new skateboard. So I owe it all to that nice kid whose name I forget (which I feel awful about). This is definitely one day I will never forget.
