My Awesome Experience on Grey's Anatomy!

On February 1, 2013 I had the pleasure to work on the tv show "Grey's Anatomy". It was a very exciting day but as usual, it was a very long day. At 12:30 pm my mom and I arrived at the studios. It was really cool after we checked in because we got to ride around the studios in a golf cart to get to the studio that the show "Grey's Anatomy" was being filmed at. It was a long time before I actually got to work. So I just waited the whole time eating loads of snacks, reading, and doing homework. It wasn't until 6:00 pm when they called me and said that they needed me on set. It was actually pretty cool being on set. They had me hooked up to this tube that connected to a bag of water on a pole that was on wheels. They told me that I was supposed to be a sick patient at the hospital. So while the camera was filming I stood there next to my "mom" and the "doctor" in the background. My on set mom was supposed to be going over some important medical procedures with the doctor on some sort of iPad. It was pretty cool being on the set. The whole place looked exactly like a hospital. There were fake patients and doctors everywhere and cool equipment in some places. It was a really elaborate set. After that scene we were wrapped and ready to go home. It was really cool being on that set and I hope I get another opportunity to do something like that again!
